Its a really good camera that produces extremely sharp (for a webcam) pictures and perfect for Skype. My only complaint is that the installer instructs you to connect your camera before you really should (or it is misleading enough that you could easily make this mistake). Plugging the camera in too soon leads Windows Vista to install the wrong driver and its a hell of a mess to clean up (or at least a time consuming chore). When its up and running and correctly installed, however, this camera is a gem.

Ill be honest, Im no webcam expert, but needing to replace my existing unit (which went faulty after several years) I did some research and was led to this product.... The result is a dramatically improved image - almost irrespective of the lighting conditions that it is used in. The various resolution settings are FAR superior to the previous device and only on the highest resolution settings do I begin to see some jerkiness in the way that images are rendered. Indeed, the clear, precise and accurately coloured picture is in stark contrast to the hazy and grainy experience that Id become used to from its predecessor....! Not only that, several of my friends have commented on the image quality from the other end of SKYPE connections, etc. Bottom Line : This is a really good product, if perhaps a little bit expensive.

This really is a fantastic little camera, amazing picture and sound. So good i bought another for my brother in Australia. Only small gripe is the stand, not the easiest to find a position to put it in and wont hang on a laptop screen, saying that the quality is so good i will suffer it!!
